Alaska Reece Vance is a playwright, director and author. She currently serves as chair of the theatre department at King University. Alaska’s plays have been performed at the New York International Fringe Festival, the New Orleans Fringe and in cities throughout the U.S. as well as internationally. Alaska's published play include; “Chasing Charming”, “Little Bo Peep Who Cried Wolf”, “I Am Angel”, “Ivan and the Birds”, “The Adventures of Bad” and the newly published, “Three Cheers for Rosie”. Alaska lives and writes in the Appalachian Mountains of East TN. She is passionate about creating theatre that is inspiring and exciting for young audiences and adults alike.
