Claire Wilcher is a second-year MFA candidate in acting at Michigan State University. Specializing in women in theatre, intimacy direction, and theatre of the body, Claire is constructing a degree that can best be described as focusing on "compassionate acting." She has taught acting and improv at MSU, Anderson University, and Paper Mill Playhouse. A professional improviser of 15 years, she is the founder of the Gal Pal Comedy Festival, a month-long all-women comedy festival in Indianapolis (now in its 7th year!). She's also the founder of Man Overboard, Michigan State's premier improv group for women and non-binary performers.
