Women's Theatre Festival

Rowen Haigh is a freelance director, deviser, playwright, and educator. She serves as chair of SETC’s Women in Theatre Committee, as Director of Education & Outreach for the Women’s Theatre Festival (Raleigh, NC), and as a board member with the Kentucky Theatre Association. Areas of theatrical research and practice include: collaborative, non-hierarchical creation models for gender equity; community building, empowerment, and new talent development focusing on EDI; and best practices for artist health and career longevity. Rowen holds an MFA in Directing from Towson University (Baltimore, MD) and a BA in Theatre from Reed College (Portland, OR).
