Ken is an Interim Associate Dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he has taught Lighting Design, Stage Management, and Computer Aided Drafting. Prior to joining the faculty at UNCG, he was a tenured professor at both Louisiana State University and East Carolina University. In 2012 he was the Lighting Designer and Sound/Video Engineer for the worldwide premier of Dante at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. He is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, and his designs have been seen in theatres throughout the southeast. Audiences worldwide have seen is work as the lighting designer for the Regional's Competition in the movie Pitch Perfect, were (if you are quick) he can also be seen as the lighting operator.
