Brandon Bruce serves as the Executive Artistic Director of the Birmingham Children's Theatre, where he's directed Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Three Musketeers, Cinderella, James and the Giant Peach, and Einstein is a Dummy. Previously, Brandon served as Artistic Director for Colonial Williamsburg's theatrical programming, as well as Chicago's Strawdog and BackStage Theatres (where he was honored as one of the “Top 20 Chicagoans to Watch” by Time Out Magazine). Previous directing credits include his own adaptation of The Servant of Two Masters (Colonial Williamsburg), The Little Foxes at Chicago's Shattered Globe Theatre (3 Jeff Nominations, including Best Production), The Skin of Our Teeth (2 Jeff Nominations), The Ruling Class at BackStage, and Tango at Chopin Theatre (Best Director - Orgie Awards). Brandon earned an MFA in Directing from the University of Iowa (as the Iowa Arts Directing Fellow) and teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Montevallo.
