Brittany Bara

Director of Theatre/Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre
Brittany Bara is currently the Director of Theatre/Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Southern Arkansas University. She approaches her work as an actor, director and vocal coach, as exploring pathways to connection. As an actor and director, she has performed extensively through the US, Canada and Western Europe. Favorite roles include: Reno in Anything Goes, Woman 2 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Mme. Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Brittany is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College and an MFA in Performance Pedagogy from University of Pittsburgh.
