Charles Edward Pogue wrote screenplays for DRAGONHEART and the acclaimed THE FLY. His novel of DRAGONHEART was published world-wide. He also scripted DOA, PSYCHO III, KULL THE CONQUEROR, and award-winning Sherlock Holmes films. He has written a prize-winning comedy, WHODUNNIT, DARLING?; highly praised adaptations of TARTUFFE, A FLEA IN EAR, and Ibsen's rare epic, THE PRETENDERS. Onstage, Pogue has acted with such notables as Charlton Heston, Jeremy Brett, Cyd Charisse, and Tony-winner Deanna Dunagan. He is a proud member of Actors Equity, SAG/AFTRA, the Dramatists Guild, and the Writers Guild of America. A fierce advocate for writers' rights, he served two terms on the WGA Board. He recently completed SHADOW KING, an historical play about Richard III, and a new Sherlock Holmes play.
