Assistant Professor of Theatre
Erik DeCicco, Assistant Professor of Theatre, is an award winning actor and director hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Jacksonville University where he earned a B.A. in English, and a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts. Erik continued his studies at the University of Louisville where he earned an M.F.A. in Acting. He has performed and directed in a variety of theatres in the Northeast Florida area, including: The Wilson Center, Players by the Sea, The Alhambra, Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre, and The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.
Additionally, Erik lived in New York City, where, he spent time working in Film, Television, and Theatre. His acting work includes an original musical by Sam Pitt-Stoller: Jump Man! A Mario Musical, which, won Best Musical at the 2014 New York Fringe Festival. He also had the privilege of working on a new and exciting television show, The Making of the Mob, which debuted on AMC. Erik is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
