Assistant Professor of Acting and Musical Theatre
Jonathan Flom is the current President of the Musical Theatre Educators' Alliance. For 9 years, he was Head of Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory, before going to work as Head of Acting at Baardar Akademi in Oslo, Norway from 2016-17. After being in Los Angeles for the last year and a half, Jonathan is now back on the east coast as coordinator for Slippery Rock University's new Musical Theatre BFA Concentration. "JFlo"'s books, Act Like It's Your Business and Get the Callback, are used as text resources for branding skills and audition technique all over the world. He has directed, taught, and presented all around the US, as well as in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, and Australia.
