Richard St. Peter is an assistant professor of theatre at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. He is an accomplished professional director and former artistic director with more than 50 professional and academic directing credits. He has directed throughout the Southeast, in New York, Prague and Romania. Notable credits include Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Avenue Q, The Rocky Horror Show, The Laramie Project, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, Stop Kiss, Jails, Hospitals & Hip-Hop, All My Sons and many more. He is a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab, a past participant in the LaMaMa/Umbria International Director's Symposium and a recipient of a Princess Grace Foundation Theatre Award.
