Tori Lee Averett brings a strong and committed voice for all arts education. Her work with integrating theatre, music, dance, and creative writing serves as a model for what the performing arts can achieve in and outside the classroom, across arts and non-arts disciplines, and in our day-to-day development of cultural awareness, empathy, and sense of play. She currently serves as Department Chair and Coordinator of P-12 Theatre Education for the Department of Theatre & Dance at Troy University in Troy, AL.
